Aims and Scope

Today there are approximately a dozen of academic journal in the world that cover the topics, which can be regarded as generally suitable for researchers in the field of “Economic, political, social and recreation geography”. Even fewer journals specialize in this field of research, namely the “Economic Geography” and the “Journal of Economic Geography”. Yet, the topics of clusters, network economy, globalization, etc. are extremely popular nowadays all over the world, while scholars are looking for a journal that would be able to provide competent reviewers (specialists in the field) and a focused platform of discussion. The aim of the journal is to provide scholars from all over the world with information on recent findings in the field of economic, political, social and recreation geography, and a platform of discussion. The scope of the journal covers most topics of human geography, including such topics as spatial economics, economies of agglomeration, network economy, issues of globalization and regionalization, regional, rural and urban development, etc.
