Special Issue Information

Technology now enables learners to connect beyond the classroom on a global scale in which learners can interact with rich multimedia, communicate and collaborate. Educational technology facilitates a broad range of new approaches, from teaching and learning processes to instructional design and networked community of learners. It is now obvious that educational and communication technology has great potential to transform education and change almost every aspect of our learning. This special issue will explore the role of educational and communication technology in teaching and learning processes and will consider the implications for learners, teachers and instructional designers.
