Abstract
Educational reforms of French colonialism in the 19th century in Indochina Peninsula aimed at the goals of dominated country’s rule, through the formation of educational systems according to the degree of domination achieved by French colonialists. Consequently, in Vietnamese society, there appeared a hierarchy of western intellectuals, an elite product of history, paving the way for the development of the Vietnamese intellectual class later.Keywords:
