Abstract

Private universities’ innovative contributions make an impact on the economic and social aspects. With rapid technological development, the labor market demands that graduates adapt quickly and acquire mastery. To achieve this, universities need to establish close partnerships with businesses to enhance students’ knowledge in fields regarding their professions. There are many factors influencing the training collaboration between private universities and businesses. Employed with quantitative research methods, this study surveyed four private universities, with a sample size consisting of 406 faculty, staff, and management personnel. This study was conducted to assess the training collaboration between private universities in Vietnam and businesses while identifying major influential factors during this process. Subsequently, it proposes recommendations to improve training collaboration to enhance its efficiency.
