Abstract
Biopsy is defined as the removal of tissue from the living organism for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment. Performing a good biopsy procedure needs appropriate training and good hand skill. There are various biopsy procedures and each procedure has its own advantages and disadvantages. Thus it is necessary for the dental practitioner to choose the appropriate biopsy procedure to arrive at a confirmatory diagnosis.Keywords:
