Abstract

Congenital ear malformations are due to antenatal insults during the development of fetal ear cartilage. Various these anomalies affect the functions to varying degree which might require operative procedure. In addition, these anomalies maybe associated with other congenital syndromes. Management involves recognizing the benefits and limitations of therapy, which should be thoroughly discussed with the parents and, when appropriate, the patient. Objective was to study the association of Microtia with palatal palsy. Palatal palsy though uncommon presentation is associated with microtia. Palatal palsy is associated with microtia and patient needs to be evaluated for the same.
