Abstract

Sialadenitis is an acute infection of the salivary glands. The parotid gland is most commonly affected by inflammation. Staphylococcus aureus is the most common pathogen associated with acute parotitis. Inflammatory changes in the ducts are known as sialodochitis. Inflammatory diseases of the salivary glands (Sialadenitis). Here we report a case of recurrent bacterial sialadenitis in a 45- year-old female patient on the left lower third of her face.
