The present investigation is made to study the effects of Hall current, thermal radiation and other parameters on an unsteady free convection flow of an incompressible, viscous fluid through a porous medium in a rotating system. The plate moves with a constant velocity U
0 in its own plane. A perturbation technique is used to obtain the solutions of velocity, temperature and concentration. Expressions for skin friction, Nusselt number and Sherwood number are also derived. It is observed that as we increase the hall parameter (m),
rises. Also increase in radiation tends the Nusselt number to rise.
