<Abstract>The possibility of shape coexistence within the platinum isotopes, A=192- 202, and the fine structure feature have been investigated within the framework of proton neutron Interacting Boson Model. The experimental level energies, B(E2) ratios, multipole mixing ratios  and  values are compared with the results obtained from the IBM-2. Throughout the investigation,  and  transition probabilities from 0+ states in these isotopes produce an extra evidence for the shape of these nuclei.</Abstract>
