In the process of leading the Vietnamese revolution, President Ho Chi Minh always paid attention to the issue of training and fostering the young generation. He once said, "A year starts from spring, a life starts from youth, youth is the spring of society", Ho Chi Minh thought on training and fostering young generation, including youth workers, is a scientific and comprehensive system of views on building a generation of Vietnamese youths with full necessary qualities and abilities to build and defend the Socialist Vietnam Fatherland and, at the same time, build a constantly growing Vietnamese working class. So far, Ho Chi Minh thought on youth training and fostering is not only an invaluable spiritual asset but also a guiding and directive view that is very important for the education and training of young intellectual generations in Vietnam.
