This article introduces some modern methods and techniques that have been studied and used effectively in the teaching for develop students' capacities of chemistry in high schools in Buon Ho town, Dak Lak province, Vietnam, such as project teaching, contract teaching, experiential teaching, hands-on teaching, integrated teaching, teaching with mind map, teaching in team collaboration. This has raised interest among for students and has resulted in higher academic achievement than those not used the above-mentioned teaching methods.
