The presented study is spectrophotometry method for the determination of terazosin in tablet dosage forms. Bromophenol blue was used for ion pair complex with the drug in 1:1 ratio. The linear range, limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantitation (LOQ) were found to be 1-10, 0.001 and 0.012 µg/ml respectively. The method was found to be specific when applied with some excipients and accurate enough to be applied in tablet formulation.
