<abstract language="eng">In the paper, the authors introduce a new notion 'strongly quasi-convex function', establish an integral identity for strongly quasi-convex functions, and establish some new integral inequalities of the Hermite-Hadamard type for strongly quasi-convex functions.</abstract>
