Questions about life and death will always be among the major issues people have to answer both collectively and individually. Such a re-assessment essentially also needs to address ethnic diversity, because different belief systems and norms of behaviour will affect people¡¯s views of euthanasia. 120 Respondents from the three major ethnic groupings in South Africa were drawn and were asked to complete a basic demographic questionnaire and the Euthanasia Attitude Scale. This study found no statistically significant differences between the opinions of people from different ethnic backgrounds.
