abstract={The article has as subject the engagement of teaching and learning practice of tales and their present symbolism for Elementary Schoolers. The involved teaching and learning practice in the narrative enabled the children to coped with their fears through symbolic internal values of the Irish fairy tale ¡®The golden pot¡¯, and that was the reason to be chosen for the pedagogical intervention for a group of literacy children in a full-time public school.
