    <abstract language="eng">Forty-nine physiological and biochemical indices of blood in blue peafowl were determined in this report. Significant differences were observed in the hematocrit, alkaline phosphatase, CO2-M and anion gap (p &lt; 0.01), as well as mean corpuscular hemoglobin, a-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase, Mg2+, erythrocyte number, glutamicpuruvic transaminase, total protein and total bile acid (p &lt; 0.05) of different sexes. The results may provide a reference for feeding, health examination, diagnosis, and breeding of blue peafowl.</abstract>
