Gluten-sensitive enteropathy is characterized by heterogeneous clinical manifestations of variable severity that can occur at any age. For patients with prompt diagnosis and correct treatment the prognosis is excellent. Therefore, CD needs a quick diagnosis in order to start the treatment.
