    <abstract language="eng">The present study demonstrates that the application of case-based English literature learning in combination with lecture-based learning is beneficial in learning basic and clinical knowledge. In addition, spending time with students interactively and summarizing the English literature in continuous elective courses is helpful.</abstract>
