<abstract language="eng">This paper presents a practical survey study at some high schools in Hanoi to analyze and draw conclusions about the possibility to apply the flipped classroom model in teaching history subjects at public high schools in Vietnam. At the same time, the study also points out some modifications of the application of the flipped classroom model in teaching history and proposes some solutions to apply this model in teaching history at public high schools in Vietnam to develop students’ learning competency and improve teaching quality.</abstract>
