<abstract language="eng">John Stuart Mill (180 - 1873) was the most influential English language philosopher of the nineteenth century. He created a great number of works which attracted remarkable public attention in the past and positive reviews even in these days. In this article, the author wants to clarify J. S. Mill's education and self-education process during his childhood with his views on education.</abstract>
