abstract={Confucianism originated from China and was introduced to Vietnam at the early age, which has had a quite big influence on social institutions; also contributed to forming ethic values, core culture ¨C the tradition of the Vietnamese. One of the most important aspects of Confucianism that has influences on social life is the concept of "<i>Harmony</i>". There have been a lot of works and articles on the word of "<i>Harmony</i>" and its influence in Vietnam. In this article, the author will clarify the concept of "<i>Harmony</i>¡± as a standard, an ethical value.
