<abstract language="eng">The study investigated students' attitude towards selection of Physics in secondary schools. Questionnaires with items set to capture data on the study objectives were administered to three hundred and sixty one students selected proportionally and randomly from forty two public secondary schools. Physics teacher in each school was involved. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive parameters and few inferential statistics. Physics teacher as a role model and perceived subject abstractness by the students had significant influence on students' attitude towards selection of Physics in Meru Central Sub County. It was concluded that, Physics teacher as a role model and perceived subject abstractness by the students played an important role on students' attitude towards selection of Physics.</abstract>
