abstract={This correlational study investigated bullying as a correlate of anxiety among 712 bullied victims in secondary schools in Imo State using purposive random sampling techniques. Four research questions, four hypotheses and two instruments titled: Bullying Victims Identification Questionnaire (BVIQ) and Bullying and Anxiety Relationship Scale (BARS) with test-retest reliability coefficient of 0.71 and 0.72 respectively guided the study. The results showed significant joint and separate positive relationships between physical, verbal, social bullying and social anxiety and test anxiety respectively. It was recommended that school counsellors should develop anti-bullying policies, mount campaigns and organize seminars to actualize free bulling environment in order to enhance academic activities.},
