The main objective is to determine the link between migration and local non-agricultural diversification. Based on the estimation of a multivariate tobit model, we characterized the link between the two social phenomena. The estimate shows that there is simultaneity between migration and local non-agricultural diversification. The migration ratio has a negative and significant impact on the ratio of local non-agricultural diversification.
