    <Abstract>This article deals with the vibration analysis of flexible structural or mechanical components. The purpose of this article is to derive the general nonlinear differential equations of motion regarding the free vibration of flexible members of uniform and/or variable cross section along their length. Unique solution methodologies are developed that simplify the solution of very complex problems.</Abstract>
