The paper deals with determination of modal parameters of exhaust fan impeller. The aim of performed analysis was to investigate whether resonance is the cause of excessive operational vibration of the fan. The paper describes results of experimental measurement by which the natural frequencies of non-rotating impeller were determined. The resonance frequencies and mode shapes during the rotation were estimated by using Finite Element simulation.
