This paper describes a proposal of the shape and dimensions of a fixture which allows loading experimental samples by shear. The proposed device and the sample were subjected by a static FEM analysis, for judging the suitability of the given constructional proposal of the fixture for the chosen type of load. The fixture also was subjected to experimental measurement susingnon-contact optical method ESPI.
