Even more rarely it can be found in other abdominal organs like liver, pancreas, spleen etc. We present a unique case of acute abdominal pain - a patient with torsion of arteriovenous malformation of gastroepiploic arteries with following ischemia and thrombosis causing severe pain. A search at the literature has not yielded any other case report describing similar cause of the acute abdomen.
