abstract={Six varieties of mangoes (Amelia, Brooks, Kent, Keitt, Lippens, Springfield)harvested from different pedological areas of the western region of Burkina Faso (Bobo-Dioulasso, Orodara, Banfora) were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography in order to determine the ¦Â-carotene content. The study revealed a variability in ¦Â-carotene content between different varieties and regions. The Amelia variety is the richest in ¦Â-carotene content and is a good source of provitamin A.},
