Special Issue on Medical Genetics and Epigenomics

Medical Genetics and Epigenomics explore the potential genetics and/or epigenetics biomarkers for diseases. From the development of methods to the identification of genetics and/or epigenetics biomarkers and translation of biomarkers as the screening tools for diseases. The journal accepts original, innovative and sound theoretical research on different diseases by focusing on the exploration of potential insights of genes involved in diseases, development of innovative (epi)genotyping methods and screening tools as well as powerful computational and bioinformatics analyses. The journal has a multi-disciplinary approach which includes original research, short communications, perspectives, theory, models, analyses, applications and reviews.

About the issue

The topics of this special issue include, but are not limited to:

  • Genetics and epigenetics aspects of all diseases
  • Methods and protocols development on high-throughput sequencing, whole genome analysis, bioinformatics and/or computational biology, in silico and biostatistical analyses.
