American Journal of Electrical and Electronic Engineering
This special issue addresses scientists and experts, explores the use of electric and magnetic fields and electromagnetic waves in various fields of science and technology. Electromagnetic waves predicted by Maxwell revolutionized science and technology. They are used in communication systems, navigation and various measurement systems. A separate section examines the interaction of electrodynamics and propagation of electromagnetic waves in material media. Electric and magnetic fields are used to perform various processes in medicine.

This special issue addresses a group of major technical issues related to the failure mechanisms and condition monitoring of electrical and electronic devices. These devices range from electrical machines, transformers to switches, capacitors and converters which play a key role in electrical power generation, conversion and consumption. These issues are increasingly important as their applications are everywhere and especially to those industry critical to establishing low-carbon economy such as electric vehicles, aircraft, new and renewable energy.
From my experience of organizing international conferences, the number of papers in these areas is seen in increase year after year. There is a pressing need to disseminate research work to the research community and industry.
The topics of this special issue include, but are not limited to:
