Special Issue Information

The basic idea of education has always been to provide equal opportunities to achieve success and success of all. And under this idea is developed in order that the good jobs are few and that the education system's mission is to select who is receiving them. The policy of a neoliberal economy crossed by labor market competition depends not only of the opportunity given by the education system, the education system here can not continue to ensure employability in a global market competition. The title accredited by degree is therefore to represent the educational experience, meaning an acquired knowledge, but also justifies the powers, giving the employer a means to justify the ends. However, the labour market offers working conditions and social status in different jobs. Many young people enter the market with social disadvantages, accredited by a diploma which initially gave them a chance. However, as they improve the conditions of access to different courses, worsen conditions in labour-workspace is contextualizing-cultural reproduction. Success is accredited by exclusion and devalued by the inclusion. The school, despite being free and full education, is not capable of producing real social transformation, on the contrary, it serves to conceal inequality and thus legitimize it. The school separates those with inherited cultural capital of those who are deprived of it and this separation emphasizes experiential own characteristics, both in the academic part and the labor market. The exams justify the reason of sections and titles were awarded the result as guarantee of technical and social competence, as the school title lends credibility and helps to ensure social reproduction.
