Journal of Automation and Control
In this special issue, we have focused on advances in two study fields of powertrain systems, including solid mechanics and controlling. We encourage researchers to submit their original articles, in which new, innovative and evaluable works have been performed, by both numerical and experimental techniques. Specifically, we are interested in researches that could be proposed in the simulation in solid mechanics of components, the validation and testing of engines and components, the components design, the failure analysis and the material investigation, the fault diagnosis, the noise, vibration and harshness (NVH), the control, dynamics, etc.

The paradigm of autonomous vehicles’ cooperative control is the challenge frontier for new control system application domains, and as a research area it has experienced a considerable increase in activity in recent years. The military application of autonomous vehicles systems or multiple unmanned vehicles is primarily targeted; however much of the material is relevant to a broader range of multi-agent systems including cooperative robotics, distributed computing, sensor networks and data network congestion control. The Special Issue is aimed at the Cooperative control of multiple vehicles and its application on all kinds of fields.
