Special Issue on Recent Trend and Development scenario for Modeling of Physical Sciences

The objectives of modeling of physical sciences are to establish an excellent platform for discussion and communication between applied mathematicians, mathematical and numerical modelers, in academic and research institutions, and industry. The discipline of computational bioscience, like the field of genomics, is in its infancy. For instance, the functions of most of the human genome remain a mystery, and the existing models for computational genomics are insufficient to shift paradigms of biological interpretation. The current generation of bioinformaticians and molecular biologists will map the elements of the genome and make scientific discoveries to enable the diagnosis and management of human diseases, perhaps even curing many of the ills of mankind. It strives to promote the development of effective algorithms, mathematical models, optimization techniques and their applications in real-world problems with demonstrated capability and efficiency in cross-disciplinary and industrial applications. The focuses on issues related to the design, development and implementation of new methodologies and technologies which aim to achieve medical field and systems sciences.

While the unifying aspect of the special issues was its adherence to quantitative models, it sought diversity by being concerned with a variety of disciplines, including engineering, biological, medical, and other sciences. Both theoretical and applied works which employ mathematical and computer modeling was considered for publication. Papers dealing with experiments were considered when the results were presented as an integral part of the modeling process.

Special Issue on Towards New Cosmology from Quantum Gravity & Particle Physics

The Special Issue will present manuscripts authored by L. A. Glinka. At least 4 papers which have never been published by a journal, each having at least 4 pages, will be solicited. Their initial versions have already been reviewed and accepted for a public presentation by a reliable source of scientific information. These contributions are dedicated to L.A. Glinka's research in quantum gravity and particle physics, which aimed at looking for the new cosmology.
